new model OCR X15 is a hand-held scanner that simplifies data
capture. X15 scans just about all types of documents, quickly
and accurately. The operator moves the X15 over characters or
barcodes to scan them. The information is automatically captured via USB and
transferred into your accounting, editing or other application software (Word,
Excel, etc.) for further processing.
The main advantages of the OCR X15 over other commercial
hand-held scanners / readers are its flexibility in terms of combined reading of
OCR fonts, MICR and 1-D barcodes (other OCR fonts and barcodes available on
request), its reliability and excellent recognition rates.
As a low-cost alternative to other commercial hand-held scanners / readers, this
innovative device will find applications in banks, post offices, government
agencies, hospitals, airports, libraries, etc., where a large variety of codes
can be found.
In addition to the main advantages of the
X15 Pen Scanner, the new OCR Reader X35 introduces a
wider scanning area of 35 mm that enables to recognize 1-D and 2-D barcodes
(PDF-417), and 2-Lines OCR characters, simultaneously and with superior
accuracy.
